Brevox respects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This privacy policy explains which data we process, why, for how long, and what rights you have.
1. Data controller

2. Which personal data we process
Depending on how you use the website, we process:
- Order and customer data: first and last name, salutation, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address (postal code, house number, city, country).
- Order details: products, quantities, amounts, order history.
- Payment data: handled by our payment service provider; we receive the payment status and a transaction reference, not full card details.
- Shipping data: name and address for the carrier, plus a track-and-trace number.
- Business data (B2B): company name and VAT number.
- Technical data: IP address, browser/device information and cookie data (see point 8).
- Communication: correspondence by email or via the contact form.

4. Recipients and processors (third parties)
We only share data where this is necessary for the purposes above, including with:
- Mollie B.V. — payment processing.
- PostNL — delivery of your order (name, address, track and trace).
- Hosting / server provider — hosting of the webshop.
- Email service — sending transactional emails.
- Accounting / administration — for invoicing.
Brevox concludes data processing agreements with its processors. Data is in principle processed within the EU/EEA; where data is transferred outside it, we ensure appropriate safeguards.
5. Retention periods
- Order and invoice data: we retain this in accordance with the statutory tax retention obligation of 7 years.
- Customer account and contact details: for as long as you are a customer, or until you request deletion.
- Track-and-trace / shipping data: retained for a limited period after delivery and then cleared (retention limit in line with the agreements with the carrier).
- Data processed on the basis of consent: until you withdraw your consent.
6. Security
Brevox takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful processing, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to withdraw any consent you have given. Send your request to sales@brevox.eu. We will respond within the statutory period. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
8. Cookies
The website uses cookies that are necessary for the webshop to function (e.g. shopping cart, session, language choice) and, if you consent to them, cookies for analytics and/or marketing. You can manage your cookie preferences via the cookie settings on the site and delete cookies via your browser.
9. Changes
Brevox may amend this privacy policy. The current version is always available at www.brevox.eu. In the event of significant changes, we will inform you where necessary.
